The Bumble Bums was created by Aimee La Joie, a frustrated online dater. After having so many horrible yet hilarious things happen to her, she thought, “well why don’t I just turn this into a web series?” With the goal of both shamelessly promoting her struggling acting career as well as turning her negative stories into positive experiences, Aimee did just that. Since then she has been re-creating her own embarrassing stories as well as the stories of many others who haven’t had the best dating experiences. 

All the stories featured on The Bumble Bums are real, although some are a tad dramatized. But seriously, most of these things write themselves.
